As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations in 2014 a book written by Anne Blake and Kaye MacLean was released. It traces West Australian china painting in the early 1900s through to the Guild's eventual foundation in 1964 and follows the Guild's progression to the present day. The book was launched by the former State Premier, Hon Richard Court AC at a special reunion function held by the Guild on the 2nd May, 2014.

Retailing at $25 plus postage, the book can be purchased by contacting the Guild or downloading an order form and following the directions. All proceeds from the sale of the book go the Guild.

page 71 from bookResearched and written by Guild members Anne Blake and Kaye MacLean, the book features over 140 pages and contains many beautifully coloured illustrations of hand-painted china by members and other events. Included also is a list of all recorded Richard Coart officially launching the bookcurrent and former members and office bearers of the Guild.

The Guild has a rich history and its Foundation President Amy Lakides promoted the art by showcasing more than 100 pieces of her hand painted china, firstly in the north-west of Western Australian and then in the eastern states and overseas.

This delightful book traces china painting and the work of many significant artists through the last five decades.
