Gallery Two 2018 Guild Annual Exhibition
The West Australian Guild of China Painters held its 2018 annual exhibition and sale of work on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th May, at the Art Deco, Guildford Town Hall situated just North of Perth.
The chosen theme for this year's exhibition was 'A BRUSH WITH COLOUR' and members were invited to submit up to seven pieces inspired by the theme for judging.

1st Prize ~ Christine Munro
'India in Focus'
4 pieces featuring designs inspired by the
colours of India.
2nd Prize ~ Heather Tailor
'Sakura' A collection of 7 pieces celebrating the
culture and colours of Japan.
3rd Prize ~ Carolyn Pollitt
'Who's a Pretty Boy?' A collection of 4 pieces having fun
with parrots.
Highly Commended ~ Dee Credaro
'God's Colours'
3 pieces featuring the changing colours of
a rural
scene.
2018 PRESIDENT'S CHOICE AWARD
The 2018 President's Choice certificate
and
prize
was
awarded to Gloria Paxman for her
box titled 'Pansies'.
2018 BEST FIRST TIME EXHIBITOR AWARD
The 2018 award for
Best First Time
Exhibitor went to Megan Evans for
her Collection titled 'My Mind'.
