2017 Guild Annual Exhibition
The West Australian Guild of China Painters held its 2017 annual exhibition on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May, at the Guildford Town Hall, situated just north of Perth.
The chosen theme for the exhibition was 'IMAGINE' and members were invited to submit up to seven hand painted pieces inspired by the theme for judging.

1st Prize ~ Lucy Bertilone
'Opus 1'
A collection featuring 7 designs inspired by
music.
2nd Prize ~ Christine Munro
'Whereabouts' A collection of 6 exhibits interpreting the
theme 'Imagine'.
3rd Prize ~ Heather Tailor
'Jewels of the Night' A collection of 7 exhibits featuring Moths
- the jewels of the night..
Highly Commended ~ Penny Mueller
'Imagine Being 600 Years Out of Date'
7 pieces exploring elements through the
ages .
2017 PRESIDENT'S CHOICE AWARD
The 2017 President's Choice certificate

was
awarded to Barbara Getty for her large pillow vase titled
'Dragonfly Explosion'.
